Give an example of deviance that you have experienced. Remember the difference between deviance and crime.

I was definitely a deviance in my family a couple of years ago. I went from being a good little country girl to a goth kid. My family was kind of scared.
I used to talk back to my parents. In their eyes, this was deviant behavior. In our society today, this is not widely considered a deviant behavior anymore.
I cant really think of anything deviant that I have done but my freshman year I changed alot and me and my mother kinda grew apart because I chose friends over my family and I never listened to her and I talked back alot. Thats all i can think of.
In my experience of deviant behavior was when I was in middle school when I was really disrespectful to my teachers because I did not want to be told what to do.
hmm... i used to hang out with "the wrong crowd", as my mom said. so we used to get bored at about 3am and we would go running through the neigborhood and climbing up people's trees and start talking so they would get up and think their trees were talking. as soon as their door opened all that they would see was like 6 or 7 kids fall out of their tree and take off. lol. good times...
I think that deviance behavior occurs mostly in teenagers. When I was about 13/14 I started to change with my mom, the communication was just not the same as it had been before but I guess that was just a phase, I began to rebel and this was deviance behavior towards my parents and the people that knew me real well, that were close to me.
About a year and a half ago I was living at my moms house and we got into a big fight. The next day when I was on the way to the beach she called me and told me if I wanted to move out then leave. So when I came back I got all my stuff and went to live with my dad. That's about the most deviant thing I've ever done.
well i have to say thr most deviance thing ive done has to be when i went out and got my toung peirced even though my dad seid not to but i was old enuff to get it by my self lol but even to this day he hasn't noticed it and ive had it done twice lol
So is it something we've done that has shown deviant behavior? I guess so. I used to fight with everyone all the time and sneak out about every night. But I got out of that phase thankfully.
im not a very deviant person. i mean. me and my mom get into arguments occasionally. my dad and i rarely fight. me and my sister get along great (shes my best friend). i got great friends, most of us play soccer.. i guess im just lucky.
I know that i've acted deviant before, i just can't think of a specific time. i guess the only example i could use would be a time when i didn't necessarily lie to my parents, i just didn't tell them exactly where i was going. so it really was a type of lie :D
I went from beeing a little redneck child into what I am today, most of my family still wonders why, however it is very evident that I still have my southern roots.
i lied before and i regreted it after i got in trouble by my aunt... i told her that i was going a certain place and i went somewhere totally different

i would say the most deviant thing that i have ever done would be sneeking out of my house.

i deviated from my peers when i quit going to parties. although going to parties may be illegal, it is not considered deviant.
Um... I guess switching parents that was a big change. I think that would be considered a diviant thing or act.
